ReplyDeletea craft disaster...oh I never have those...HA! kidding...let's see, something recent maybe...so many to choose from...duh! I was making a "spring wreath" for my mother for Mom's day and I couldn't seem to get the flowers to glue to anything but my poor burned fingertips! They did not turn out very well in the end and the whole thing had to be taken apart for a remodel! Thanks, for the giveaway ;) amiemiller02 at hotmail.com

I work on scale replicas of classic cars, after finishing my bottom coat one night the cat jumped onto the table, knocking the black detailing paint all over my finished car :(

My most common craft disaster is accidentally gluing stuff to the floor (my workspace, myself...) I don't know why I never learn, but the worst instance was when I glued my cute fabric covered bulletin board to the carpet - i think there is still glue in certain spots...

My craft disaster was not buying enough yarn at first and thinking the different dye lot later would look "close enough" when knit up--it didn't!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteEVERY craft I attempt is a disaster. aside from jewelry making....everytime I dig right in and think...this time it will be diffrent...I hold up the dress for my husband to see and he says "good job honey, we needed new pillow cases".......

ReplyDeleteMy worst craft disaster: I spent hours prepping, priming, and painting a small desk (and we're talking a fancy decorative paint job here). While moving it to it's designated spot, I dropped it and it broke into many bits of wood which ended up in the dumpster.

ReplyDeletei try to make my scrapbooks look professional w/o buying the professional tools - always a disaster!
I tried to make hand made thank-you's for my wedding but they were terrible. I used black paper and white ink but the ink ran everywhere. I finally gave up and just bought some!

My worst experience was trying to make a handmade pillow in Home Economics class in 8th grade. I was using one of the sewing machines and ended up stitching my hand instead of the material, ouch!
ReplyDelete*I will be in Guatemala 6-17 to 7-6 so will try to get back & check the winner and visit again when I get my prepaid net access down there...
